Laser treatment for sun-damaged, wrinkled, or mildly wrinkled skin
As we age, our skin cells begin to lose moisture and collagen production decreases. In combination with damage caused by the sun and other environmental factors, fine lines, wrinkles, uneven texture and sun spots begin to form.
The Fotona micro-laser peel is a delicate and precise superficial laser peel that targets and provides impressive results in reducing the visible signs of aging on the face and neck.
To treat superficial skin problems, such as age spots, pigmentation problems, fine lines and sun damage, this type of laser treatment gently targets the outermost layer of the skin, improving the overall texture and appearance of the face and skin.
A laser peel can be carried out in a single laser treatment or as a package of several treatments spaced a few weeks apart. It can also be included in the 4D laser treatment package. The recovery time required is minimal.
What can I expect?
During a laser peel, the laser gently removes 4 to 50 microns of the epidermis to promote skin regeneration, resulting in smoother, younger-looking, healthy skin. The treatment improves fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, complexion and texture, and reduces large pores.
In addition, the thermal properties of the laser penetrate deeper into the dermis to stimulate collagen production.

What can I expect during the pigment spot treatment?
A topical anesthetic is applied before the treatment to improve patient comfort. Each person is different, but during the treatment you can expect minimal to mild discomfort.
Immediately after the treatment, you may experience redness and a sunburn sensation, depending on your personalized treatment parameters. It is recommended that you keep an occlusive barrier such as Acquafor on at all times for 2 to 4 days after treatment. Some more aggressive treatments may cause redness and slight swelling for 2 to 4 days. It is best to avoid direct sunlight for a few days or more after treatment and to apply sunscreen at all times when you are outdoors.
What results can I expect?
Several sessions may be necessary to achieve the desired results. We will take the time to assess your needs and develop a comprehensive treatment program. These treatments are non-invasive, but some side effects, such as redness, may be experienced.
