What is a varicose vein?
A varicose vein is a dilated, tortuous vein that appears under the skin of the legs when the venous valves don't work properly, causing an accumulation of blood.
Sclerotherapy is a medical method of treating dilated veins by injecting a specific solution, aimed at reducing the appearance of varicose veins visible under the skin, as well as relieving associated symptoms such as pain, swelling and a feeling of heaviness in the legs. This procedure is performed by an experienced nurse clinician, under the supervision of a physician specializing in varicose veins (phlebologist).
What is a pigmentation spot?
It's an area of skin where pigmentation is darker than the surrounding complexion, due to excessive melanin build-up caused by aging, inflammation (such as acne), sun exposure or hormonal changes.
Laser treatment uses concentrated beams of light to target pigmented skin cells. Absorbed by melanin, this light causes the pigmented cells to fragment.
What is PRP microneedling?
Using fine needles to create microperforations in the skin, microneedling stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin, improving skin texture and reducing imperfections.
Combined with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), a compound derived from the patient's own blood, this treatment accelerates healing, stimulates collagen and improves skin firmness, delivering natural, effective rejuvenation.
What is a neuromodulator?
A neuromodulator, such as Botox, is a purified toxin which, by temporarily blocking nerve signals to muscles, reduces wrinkles and treats various medical conditions linked to excessive muscle contraction.
